RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES

MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL AQUAMARINE PARK (MOAP)

          MOAP is located in the boundaries of municipalities of Tudela, Misamis Occidental and Sinacaban, a 15 minute ride from the City of Ozamiz. It is a tropical resort and a well-known habitat for numerous marine mammals in Mindanao, Philippines. For only P300 per person, you can watch and even feed the rescued dolphins, do snorkeling, kayaking, scuba diving and do a lot more fun activities in just one attraction.

         As of now there are only two playful dolphins left in the aquamarine park. When we arrived in the park, I really wonder if were the dolphins are because wherever I looked in the water they are certainly no where to be found. I asked of the caretaker if where are the dolphins, he said that they hid themselves somewhere in the area.

        There they are! I should have known they hid themselves under the stairs. Well, they are undeniably good in hiding. They didn't look like charming creature physically but you will surely enjoy the day with them.

          My first attempt in touching the dolphin failed, I'm a bit scared that it may bit me or something. But I need to conquer my fear, so second attempt successful! I'm so proud that I've conquered my fear that fast. It is so slimy, I can't stop myself from touching them. It seems like they get irritated when people continuously touching them.

            

            I got a chance to feed the dolphins which is my first time and it is one of the best experience that I ever had. I really thank my ate Danilie for treating us, if it wasn't for her I wouldn't have this wonderful experience. You should try it, it is worth your money you will never regret having your vacation in MOAP. 

MT. MALINDANG GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB

It is located at barangay Bagakay, Ozamiz City. A 15 minutes drive from the city proper, and any visitors in town can hit a round of golf for an hour or two. Mt. Malindang Golf and Country Club is one of the recreational activities that the City of Ozamiz has.

 The man wearing yellow is the President of the golf club having a friendly game with his friends. We would like to thank him for letting us in and roam around the clubhouse. This people are kind enough to show us how to play golf, what to do and what not to do.

Don't mind me. I'm just pretending like I'm doing it but sad to say I really don't know how. I should watch carefully next time (if there is). You should try it and have a fun day with friends.
